“Whistleblowers Gjorgji Lazarevski and Zvonko Kostovski, as of today, are returning to their work in the MOI. There will always be a place for professionals in the MOI”, stated Minister of Interior, Oliver Spasovski.
Law on amnesty
Prosecutor Vilma Ruskoska said that there will be no requalification of the act for the April 27 events. She is not satisfied with the Law on amnesty, but will implement it.
“There will be no requalifying of the act for those persons who have not been included with the amnesty, because the amnesty does not apply to the entire criminal act terrorist endangerment to the constitutional order and security”, said Ruskoska.
Journalists
Journalists who are following the hearing for the case “April 27”, today collected 160 euros for MP Ljuben Arnaudov, who this morning said that from now on he would charge 50 euros for his statements. Still, even though the journalists offered the money to the MP, he did not give a statement to the question as to whether as an accused in the case he would submit a request for amnesty.

The network for protection against discrimination came out with a reaction to the continued postponing of the adoption of the submitted draft Law on prevention and protection against discrimination. The draft law was submitted to the Parliament in May this year by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, and six months have passed since then. Contrary to all the international recommendations and promises from the Government and the parliamentary majority that the law would be passed until the end of 2018, from the Network they say that the competent Commission on labour and social policy within the Parliament has so far not reviewed at all.
CIVIL promoted the publication “Losing identity or…?”. At the event, one of the authors of the publication, Professor Mirjana Maleska, PhD, also made an address. The project is in partnership with the Heinrich-Böll Foundation from Germany. The publication reflects the contribution of the authors for unravelling the identity issues from many different aspects in the interest of the public discourse.
