The Criminal Council at the Basic Criminal Court Skopje announced that the request of the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office to prosecute organized crime and corruption for ordering detention of Mile Janakieski was rejected as unfounded.
The Court of Appeals Skopje on 18.11.2021 of Janakieski lifted his house arrest, determined for the case KOK 53/17 known to the public as “TNT” and imposed precautionary measures on him, Sloboden Pecat informs.
Today, the Prosecution submitted a proposal for detention in the case of KOK 2/20 related to the events of April 27, 2017, and the Criminal Council, in deciding, took into account the decision of the appellate court, and also believes that in the new proposal not enough arguments were offered to support the imposition of stricter measures from those already assigned to the accused.
The parties have the right to appeal against this decision before the Court of Appeals within three days after receiving the decision.
