The outgoing Prime Minister and former President of SDSM, Zoran Zaev he told the citizens through Facebook that the most important thing is that there is no big increase in the price of electricity.

– We managed to prevent a drastic increase in electricity prices by over 25% and to activate domestic production to mitigate the price shock. The price of electricity of the universal supplier – EVN HOME for households and small consumers, will be increased by 9,48% compared to the previous billing period, as informed by the Energy Regulatory Commission, announced Zaev.

According to him, it is important that the overnight cheap electricity tariff is maintained, as well as on Sundays.

– Solidarity of all stakeholders in the electricity sector, cost reduction and savings is of great importance. There will be no electricity restrictions. All domestic power generation facilities are in function of successfully facing the energy crisis.

At the moment, there are sufficient quantities of coal provided for the operation of TPP Oslomej, as well as for REK Bitola for operation with two blocks. TPP Negotino is already included with half capacity, from January it will work at full capacity, and from January the third block of REK Bitola will be included, Zaev wrote on Facebook.
