COVID-19 vaccination runs smoothly at all points across the country. Interest in vaccination grows daily, the Ministry of Health said in a press release on Thursday.
A total of 74,076 citizens have received a COVID-19 shot at vaccination points across the country until Wednesday, reads the press release.
On Wednesday, 7,963 citizens received their first vaccine dose, while a total of 9,123 citizens got inoculated. A total of 92,253 citizens across the country have received a first dose and a booster shot. According to latest data, 25 percent of the population over the age of 70 have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccination is carried out in line with the National Immunization Plan. Adults, citizens who have applied for vaccination at the vakcinacija.mk website, as well as people employed in critical infrastructure are getting vaccinated against COVID-19.
The mass vaccination is taking place in several cities across the country, in the Boris Trajkovski sports hall in Skopje, as well as in sports halls in Kavadarci, Kumanovo, Tetovo, Shtip, Bitola and Ohrid. The Ministry of Health is urging citizens to apply for vaccination at vakcinacija.mk, as it is the easiest and fastest way to get a COVID-19 vaccine, the press release adds.
