The world does not have the luxury to close its eyes before the darkness that has encircled humanity. Some things must be said — and recorded in the world’s memory — no matter how many minds will be unsettled, no matter how many decision-makers will be alarmed.
Putin is buying time — with blood. Again. And U.S. President Trump is handing it to him in person — this time in Alaska. Let it be remembered: this meeting with the war criminal will not bring peace or progress. It will bring only more breathing room for the terrorist state of Russia and its deranged and blood-soaked ruler. It will cast an even deeper fog of confusion across the world, while Trump, in his usual pomp and vulgarity, tries to sell his chaotic fantasies as reality.
We — the people who bear the cost of wars and the lies that start them — have seen this before, time and again, especially with the Russian tyrant. Every handshake is another bullet fired, another life lost. Another moment in history etched in cowardice, delusion, vanity, and greed — and, ultimately, in appeasement. A damning, unforgivable, and disgraceful failure to defend the very foundations of our humanity: freedom, solidarity, peace, and justice.
Putin — head of a mafia state and a war criminal — is a master deceiver who dresses terror as diplomacy and sells mass murder as “peace” and “defense.” Every word from the Kremlin is engineered to distort reality, to twist the facts until truth itself becomes unrecognizable — and even disputable. For decades, he has perfected the art of buying time with lies, feigning negotiation while plotting the next invasion, the next atrocity. His handshakes are poison, his promises — traps. Those who believe him either do not know him — or do not care about the blood on his hands, caring instead about interests that have nothing to do with democracy, justice, and freedom.
He will eat Trump for breakfast — and Trump will grin all the way down Putin’s KGB-trained throat, then thank him for the privilege.
The Kremlin butcher thrives in the dark shadows between truth and lies, wielding disinformation as a weapon as lethal as any missile. In Putin’s world, every tragedy is an opportunity, every ceasefire a pause to reload. He turns human suffering into leverage, holding entire nations hostage — from the battlefield to the courts of global opinion and policy-making. His “diplomacy” is nothing more than warfare by other means — a stage where he performs the role of the “reasonable” statesman while his war machine commits atrocious, systematic war crimes. Meanwhile, the Kremlin’s propaganda machine, dressed as media, crowns destruction and genocide as justice, holy mission, or national defense. The Kremlin’s intelligence and military apparatus conducts influence operations across European societies, corroding them into volatile, fragmented masses. And all of it is rubber-stamped, unanimously, by the obedient Duma.
And yet, time after time, the world indulges this theater, hoping that this time will be different — that the man who profits from death will suddenly care about life. That never happens. From Grozny to Aleppo, from Crimea to Mariupol, the pattern is the same: destruction, denial, deception. And killing. Endless killing. Reducing everything to blood money, ruin, and corpses. Every meeting that treats Putin as a legitimate partner is a huge leap away from peace, and a step closer to the trap he has been setting for decades — a trap baited with false hope and sealed with blood. It is like seating the murderer beside the judge to pass sentence on the victim.
While Putin uses the meeting to buy time for more killing, Trump will use it to feed his vanity. Obsessed with the fantasy of a Nobel Peace Prize, he will flaunt and preen himself, convinced that a handshake with a war criminal makes him a peacemaker. Hopefully, the Nobel Committee will keep its integrity and independence. In reality, it makes Trump — and his entire circus — nothing less than an accomplice. In his usual pomp and vulgarity, he will try to sell his chaotic fantasies as reality — and the propaganda machines in Moscow and elsewhere will happily amplify the spectacle.
Even before the Alaska meeting begins, the scenario builders and self-indulgent “experts” will be busy flooding the airwaves and columns with their “ingenious” analyses. They will chart imagined breakthroughs, speculate on backroom deals, and dress this grotesque performance as diplomacy. The same commentariat — a loyal chorus in this theater of deceit — will once again pretend that the war criminal in the Kremlin is a statesman, and that Trump’s chaotic posturing is strategy. It is all theater — scripted for the benefit of those who profit from confusion, and deadly for those who pay the price in blood.
History will not remember this kind of diplomacy as an effort to achieve peace — far from it. What will be remembered is a grotesque theatre in which a war criminal was given legitimacy instead of justice. One more photo op for a tyrant and a wannabe Nobel laureate, while the world is in grave need of resolve, unity, and the courage to confront evil. In Alaska, Trump may offer Putin a stage, but we must refuse to applaud. We must name the lies, reject the deceit, and stand with those fighting for freedom and survival. To do otherwise is complicity — the worst kind.

Terror Dressed as Diplomacy
Behind every word of “peace,” a missile. Behind every promise, a trap. Putin weaponizes diplomacy to prolong war, deceive the world, and crush Ukraine – never changing the script, only adapting the mask. It is mafia diplomacy. Threats disguised as terms. Violence masked as reason.

Putin’s “Peace” Trap
No peace without truth! Behind the Kremlin rhetoric of “peace” lies a strategy of deception, delays, and terror. There’s never a turning point with Putin – only tactical ploys. A KGB-style maneuver in the language of diplomacy. Real peace begins with truth, justice, and the full retreat from Ukraine.
