The Commission for Infectious Diseases gave no recommendation for new COVID-19 restrictions at a meeting on Monday, the Ministry of Health told MIA.
The Commission for Infectious Diseases and the Health Ministry urge for consistent observance of the measures in force including closure of bars and restaurants at 9 pm, ban for groups of more than four people during the entire day, as well as maximum adherence to protocols by all economic operators.
The Minister of Health Venko Filipce on Thursday at the meeting with the President of the Commission for Infectious Diseases Dr. Zarko Karadzovski, and Dr. Suzana Manevska, where they consulted through a telephone call with all members of the Commission, decided that they will not recommend new restrictive measures, the Ministry of Health announced.
“The commission is monitoring the epidemiological situation and, if necessary, will recommend additional restrictive measures after the weekend, such as the complete closure of some economic operators and restriction of movement, whether overnight, in the afternoon or on weekends,” the ministry said.
