CIVIL is organizing an online event ”Illegal weapons and organized crime: Everything is connected “ tomorrow, Wednesday, February 16th, at 13:00. With this continues the series of online events “In Focus”. At tomorrow’s event, the “focus” of CIVIL will be several important aspects of arms control in the country and in the region. The focus will also be on the link between the trafficking of illegal weapons and organized crime.
Last year, CIVIL implemented the project “The past, the present and the future of arms control in North Macedonia” which brought extremely rich content with a series of interviews by relevant analysts, experts and high government officials. The project was implemented with the support of Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime and Resilience Fund. Tomorrow’s event, which is expected to last around 60 minutes, is a great opportunity for the public to get acquainted with the results of this project.
This event is a continuation of the series of online events of CIVIL. A panel on the topic ”Russian-Ukraine crisis and North Macedonia was held last week”. The series of events is part of the program Civica Mobilitas, financed by the Swiss agency for development and cooperation
