At the online event “Give Me Five” organized by GREEN Civil, Katarina Ilijovska from the IECE, presented the mission and vision of the Western Balkans Circular Economy Hub — a new regional platform designed to accelerate the transition toward circular practices. The Hub brings together stakeholders from all six Western Balkan countries to foster collaboration, support small and medium enterprises, empower youth and women, and drive innovation.
„We’re currently developing the hub’s digital platform — a one-stop place for resources, reports, case studies, and tools from across the region. It will be launched in September, but in the meantime, our landing page is live, where you can stay informed and get involved“, said Ilijovska.
LogEx are: The Balkan Forum (Kosovo), CIVIL / Green CIVIL (North Macedonia), Build Green Group (Albania), CENER 21, COD Jajce (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Universum International College (Kosovo), Zero Waste Montenegro (Montenegro), YIHR Serbia (Serbia).
This content is part of the GREEN Civil project “Give Me Five!”, within the framework of the Western Balkans Circular Economy Week (May 26- June 1, 2025) under the motto “From Local Fixes to Regional Impact”.
The initiative is implemented by the LogEx regional network, of which CIVIL is a member. The network was launched by the reputable think tank organization Balkan Forum from Kosovo, and with the support of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund from the United States.
