With banners “Do you know who is Almir”, “Jusice for Almir” and “No justice, no peace”, today, citizens of the initiative “Justice for Almir” welcomed the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, in front of the Parliament of Republic of Macedonia.
“We came here to send out a message to Mogherini, to Hahn and to all the European eyes that are turned towards Macedonia today that just here is dead!”, stated Visar Vishka, one of the organizers of the protest.
Vishka stated that today’s protest has the purpose to show the representatives of the European Union that the citizens do not agree with such justice, and that if they consider this an example of European law, then they can have our judges and politicians.
“Here I do not refer only to the case of Almir, but to all cases where there are indications that the judiciary has not acted objectively and impartially”, stated Vishka.
He also added that the final decision of the court in Kumanovo is being waited on in order to bring charges against prosecutors Jovevski and Kusigerska, judge Maja Denkovska and all involved who are suspected of not acting accordingly, from politicians, judges, public prosecutors to all others involved in this case.
