I would like to make a distinction between nationalism and patriotism. They are not harmful to society, because they should serve to improve society. But, because in our country at the moment it is turning into extreme nationalism, ultranationalism, then damage is done. This is because those groups need to prove that they are superior to other ethnic groups, simply to show that they are the best and most superior to other ethnic groups. When there is one source, it is easier to deal with that problem, but there are several actors in this risky nationalism. A distinction should be made in education and students should be taught what the benefits of nationalism are, and what the harms of ultranationalism are.
