The number of new COVID-19 cases has continued to drop on Wednesday and stands at around 1,000, which is a good sign and means that measures are producing results, Health Minister Venko Filipche said.
He underlined that hospitals are still under pressure, due to the high number of patients.
“Beds are available in COVID units in Skopje and across the country. The Kumanovo and Bitola hospitals are at capacity, but we’re managing the situation on daily level,” Filipche noted.
The Minister said that the vaccination process is going well, adding that by Tuesday some 30,000 citizens have been inoculated.
