Open your eyes, if you blink, you’ll be fooled! – guerrilla action against fake news in North Macedonia* On Saturday, at several locations throughout Skopje, anonymous activists posted models of mobile phones with images on the screens of some of the most commonly used and most harmful disinformation in North Macedonia.
Next to each of the fake news, a folk proverb or adaptation of folk wisdom is written, which indicates the harmfulness, immorality and danger of manipulations of the population.
The authors of the installations posted the five most malicious disinformation and confronted them with five folk wisdoms.
