First Deputy PM and Minister for Political System and Community Relations Artan Grubi met Monday with Greek Ambassador Roussos Koundouros, discussing enhancement of bilateral cooperation, implementation of the Prespa Agreement, political developments in the country and region, and North Macedonia’s EU integration.
Grubi and Koundouros agreed that North Macedonia and Greece have continually promoted the stability of the Western Balkans since the Prespa Agreement signing through friendship and promotion of its spirit, the Deputy PM’s Office said in a press release.
Ambassador Koundouros expressed Greece’s support to North Macedonia’s progress and its EU integration.
Interlocutors also tackled the coming Census, local elections and intensification of economic cooperation, with a focus on energy and gas distribution.
Grubi highlighted the need for implementation of the Prespa Agreement and North Macedonia’s readiness to solve the Bulgaria dispute without delay, reads the press release.
