Greece is set to deliver COVID-19 vaccines to North Macedonia on Tuesday morning, MIA reports from Athens.
Two weeks ago, Health Minister Venko Filipche and Greek government spokesperson Aristotelia Peloni said that Greece will deliver 20,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to North Macedonia.
At the beginning of June, Peloni told MIA’s Athens correspondent during a regular press briefing that in coordination with the European Commission, Greece will deliver 20,000 doses of vaccines each to North Macedonia and Albania.
Earlier that week, Health Minister Venko Filipche said the country expects 50,000 vaccines from Bulgaria and 20,000 from Greece.
On Monday, Greece delivered a batch of 20,000 AstraZeneca jabs to Albania.
