At its 177th session on Tuesday, the Government adopted a decision to send 100 members of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia to participate in a humanitarian operation in the Republic of Slovenia, writes news agency MIA.
“Based on the decision, 100 Army members are being sent to help in dealing with the consequences of the floods that occurred in the Republic of Slovenia, in line with Slovenia’s request for assistance through NATO’s Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC),” said the Government.
The Army members are being sent for a period of thirty days.
“The Republic of North Macedonia, as before, remains ready to offer help and participate in various humanitarian missions and actions in areas affected by natural disasters,” said the Government.
