The government at Tuesday’s session adopted changes and supplements to the Law on Minimum Wage in line with the decisions of the Economic and Social Council.
With these changes, the minimum wage starting from March cannot be less than Mden 18,000, the legal framework also includes the adopted changes for regular annual alignment of the minimum wage by 50% of the annual average wage increase and 50% of the growth of the cost of living, as well as the criterion according to which the amount of the minimum wage can not be lower than 57% of the average wage published by the State Statistical Office, the government said in a press release.
