The Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia at today’s 132nd session, in accordance with the Law on Execution of the Budget for 2022, adopted a Green Development Program which sets an additional 670 million denars (10,7 million euros) for the implementation of projects in the field of energy, ie for production and provision of additional quantities of electricity from renewable energy sources to overcome the situation with the energy crisis.
At this session, the Government also approved the text of Draft-law Amending the Law on Copyright and Related Rights.
The purpose of the proposed law is to prescribe a normative basis for establishing an efficient model for the functioning of the system of collective management of copyright and related rights in accordance with Directive 2014/26 / EC of the European Union on collective management of copyright and related rights and multi- Territorial licensing of music works for use online, in the area of collective management.
The amendments, among other things, are still being harmonized with the EU Directive 2011/77 and with the Directive 2006/116 / EU on the duration of the protection of copyright and related rights, in relation to the protection of co-authors of musical works with text, as well as the duration of the protection of the performers and phonogram producers of recorded music performances, ie phonograms from 50 to 70 years.
The government adopted it today The program for mandatory immunization of the population in Northern Macedonia for 2022 which is carried out every year and which covers the vaccination of persons of a certain age, which is carried out continuously, throughout the year against: acute viral hepatitis B, tuberculosis, diseases caused by from Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib), diphtheria (Diphtheria), tetanus (Tetanus), pertussis (Pertussis), polio (Poliomyelitis acuta), measles (Morbilli), mumps (Parotitis epidemica), rubella, infections caused by human papillomavirus (HPV), rotavirus infections and infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae for all persons of a certain age according to the Immunization Calendar.
The Program includes the Immunization Calendar for children from 0 to 18 years and the Catch-up Immunization Calendar for irregularly vaccinated children from 5 to 18 years, as well as the plan for providing annual needs for mandatory immunization vaccines and vaccines according to epidemiological indications.
At today’s session, the Government accepted the proposal of the Appointment Commission prof. Dr. Vlado Buckovski to be dismissed from the duty of Special Representative of the Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia for the Republic of Bulgaria.
The Government thanks Buckovski for all the engagements and efforts with which he contributed to the maintenance of good neighborly and friendly relations between Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria in times of challenges that implied the need for a patient and dedicated attitude towards seeking solutions.
It is expected that the two governments of Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria, in accordance with the jointly established methodology, will determine the ways, resources and steps towards the final resolution of the open issues, relying on the conditions and successes achieved by all stakeholders in the processes so far. say from the Government.
As part of the accepted personnel proposals of the Government Appointment Commission, today was accepted the decision of the Management Board of the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development to be proposed for acting director of the Fund to appoint him Festim Khalili.
Today, the Government adopted a conclusion obliging all bodies and institutions in its competence, within its regular operation, to recognize the electronic certificates from the criminal records, ie the certificates for non-conviction, with equal importance as those issued in printed form.
This obligation of the Government comes after the notification of the Council for Information and Communication Technology in the judicial bodies which determined that some employees in the public institutions still requested these certificates to be in printed form.
At this session, the Government instructed the Minister of Local Self-Government Goran Milevski, together with the President of the Commission for Assessment and Determination of Damage from Natural Disasters to meet with representatives of the Municipality of Bitola to agree on the procedure for repairing the consequences of the earthquake of 9 January.
