The Government held late Monday its 84th session dedicated to the status of the Strategy for Public Administration Reform 2018-2022, put forward by the Ministry of Information Society and Administration.
The Cabinet discussed the analysis on the horizontal functional setup of ministries and institutions drafted by the project experts, in the framework of the two-year IPA project “Support to State Reorganization” funded by the EU, the Government said in a press release.
The structural assessment and opinions regarding the analysis, which projects a rationalization of the number of state administration institutions and proposals for increased efficiency, are to be presented before the Public Administration Reform Council that will afterwards present the final version of the reorganization of state administration authorities, agencies and inspection services as one of the most important activities in the European Union accession process.
The Government also adopted the report on deployment of Army members to take part at exercise “Beyond Horizon 21” in Bulgaria, also including troops from the host country, Romania and Greece, reads the press release.
