The Government approved on Tuesday the programme for financial support of rural development in 2022, MIA informs.
“The programme works towards achieving rural development policies aims at support to investment in agriculture, water economy and public infrastructure to improve life in rural areas. It is also focused on providing stable production of quality food, increasing competitiveness in agriculture, providing a stable level of revenue in agriculture, as well as promoting new ways of organization at local level, through establishing public private partnerships (LAGs),” said the Government in a press release.
In addition, the programme aims to support agriculture associations, preserve the genetic diversity of indigenous agricultural plants and indigenous livestock breeds, assistance in carrying out agricultural activities in areas with limited possibilities.
The programme for financial support of rural development in 2022 is worth Mden 1.3 billion.
