The Government adopted the additional budget review on Monday, incorporating the amendments accepted during the committee debate in Parliament.
Total Budget revenues are projected at Mden 196,3 billion (EUR 3,18 billion) while expenditures at Mden 252,8 billion (EUR 4,1 billion). The deficit stands at Mden 56,5 billion (EUR 916 million), i.e. 8.49 percent of the GDP.
Considering the circumstances, changes have been made with regards to the initial projections of the expenditure side of the Budget, for the purpose of implementing the activities within the fourth set of measures and additional funds for the health sector, used for procurement of medicines, immunization of population and other necessary funds and support for the employees directly involved in the fight against the pandemic, the Government said in a press release.
Current transfers are projected at Mden 177,3 billion (EUR 2,87 billion), a Mden 11,2 billion (EUR 181,7 million) increase compared to the 2020 plan, relating to measures within the fourth set of economic measures in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, used for direct support of private consumption.
