GREEN CIVIL held a regional online conference titled “Give Me Five for a Better Future!”, which was attended by representatives, experts and civic activists from the region.
At the online conference, participants emphasized the importance of the circular economy and sustainable practices in the Western Balkans. Through visual displays, they presented how individual and collective efforts can contribute to a better future.
Through examples of successful initiatives and projects that promote recycling, reuse and responsible resource management, GREEN Civil together with partners from the LogEx network contributed to inspiring and motivating citizens, institutions and businesses to take an active role in the transition towards a more sustainable society.
“Give Me Five for a Better Future!” serves as a call for action, reminding that every small step towards sustainability is a significant contribution to environmental protection and improving the quality of life for future generations.
Conference participants include Gazmend Berlajolli, Executive Director of The Balkan Forum, Kosovo, Xhabir Deralla, CIVIL, Sadzida Hafizovic, CENER 21 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belisa Haxhiu from Build Green Group, Albania and Katerina Ilijoska from Western Balkans Circular Economy Hub.
CIVIL, in the “Circular Economy Week”, will also participate with a rich media production involving stakeholders and a presentation of best practices for the promotion of the circular economy, with the participation of decision-makers, experts, practitioners and civil society.
