General Staff update on Russian army death toll: 33,800 killed

Russians continue targeting civilians, military movements in Russia and Belarus, near the border with Ukraine and Poland

Armed Forces have already eliminated 33,800 invaders, including 200 over the past day alone. That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 1,477 (+9) enemy tanks, 3,588 (+11) armored combat vehicles, 749 (+4) artillery systems, 235 (+2) multiple rocket launchers, 98 (+0) air defense systems, 216 +0) aircraft, 181 (+1) helicopter, 601 (+3) operational-tactical drones, 130 (+1) cruise missiles, 14 (+0) warships/cutters, 2,527 (+4) trucks, including tankers, as well as 55 (+0) units of special equipment.

The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Bakhmut and Zaporizhia directions over the past day.

As Ukrinform reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have ben shelling and destroying key infrastructure, massively shelling residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and ballistic missiles. Martial law has been imposed in Ukraine, general mobilization has been announced as the nation is repelling the invaders.

Ukraine has also officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation with the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
