Russian forces have gone for another offensive attempt in Donetsk region, trying to penetrate Ukraine’s defenses near Spirne and Novoluhanske. That’s according to a war update as of Tuesday morning, delivered by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, transmits Ukrinform.

The situation has not undergone any significant changes in the Volyn and Polissya directions. The threat of the Russians launching missile and air strikes from Belarusian territory and airspace remains in place.

No signs of an offensive group being created by the Russian troops were spotted in the Siverskyi direction. The Russians mortared the areas of Mkhy and Zalizniy Mist in Chernihiv region, as well as Shalyhine in Sumy region. A Mi-24 helicopter attacked a school building in the area of Esman settlement, Sumy region.

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian troops are focusing its main efforts on holding the occupied lines and preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops. The Russians shelled the areas of Kutuzivka, Nove, Ruski Tyshky, Mala Danylivka, and Dementiivka settlements with artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and tanks, also launching an airstrike on the City of Kharkiv.

In the Sloviansk direction, Russian artillery fired in the vicinity of Krasnopilla, Pervomaiske, Nova Mykolaivka, Bohorodychne, Adamivka, Dolyna, Mazanka, Dibrivne, Chepil, and Mospanove. Ukrainian troops successfully repulsed the enemy attack toward Dolyna. The occupiers were repelled.

In the Donetsk direction, the Russian troop’s main efforts are focused on establishing control over the territory of Luhansk region within its administrative borders. The enemy is taking measures to restore logistical infrastructure in its rear.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers shelled the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamiansk, employing barrel artillery. A missile and air strike was carried out near Sloviansk and Zvanivka.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the Russian troops are carrying out assault operations in the direction of Novoluhanske, where firefights continue.

The areas of Kodema, Novoluhanske, Pokrovske, Berestove, Spirne, and Ivano-Daryivka settlements were shelled with barrel artillery. Missile and air strikes hit the areas near Soledar, Spirne, Pokrovske, and Shumy.

With the support of artillery and aviation fire, the aggressor resumed assaults in the direction of the settlement of Spirne, with partial success. Firefights continue in the area.

In the Avdiyivka, Kurakhivka, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhia directions, the Russian troops keep shelling Ukraine’s defense positions, using artillery of various calibers. Russian warplanes attacked the settlement of Avdiyivka.

In the South Buh direction, the Russian troops are focusing its efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian units. The Russians fired barrel and jet artillery at the areas of Lupareve, Myrne, Shevchenkove, Chervona Dolyna, Kobzartsi, Partyzanske, Bereznehuvate, Topolyne, Ivanivka, Potemkine, Knyazivka, Dobryanka, Trudolyubivka, and Osokorivka. A pair of Ka-52 helicopters struck the areas near Zarichne and Olhyne.

Ukrainian air force, missile and artillery units continue to strike Russian troops ammo depots and manpower and equipment clusters, in particular in Kherson region.

The Russian occupiers are demoralized and look for any opportunity to sustain minor injuries. They resort to self-mutilation and various simulations to ensure a sick leave, only to make it back to Russia alive.
