Gas supply to the country is secured until April 15, said Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi on Friday while adding assurance over the provision of heating and electricity if Russia went forward with its decision for payment of gas deliveries in roubles, reports news agency MIA.
“In case of such decision, we will be able to use all alternative gas resources supplied to Bulgaria,” Minister Bekteshi told reporters. He voiced assurance that alternative gas sources would be found.
“We are already working on some of them – the interconnector with Greece, the direct participation in the Alexandroupolis gas terminal and the interconnector with Bulgaria,” said Bekteshi.
