France is strongly advising that its citizens leave Russia, MIA reports.
The notice applies to French citizens whose presence in Russia is not essential, the travel advisory says, calling on people to use the connections that still exist to leave the country.
Meanwhile, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian warned in comments to the France 2 broadcaster that “it is possible the worst is yet to come.” He said that Russia had now switched to siege tactics in its attack on Ukraine.
