Following a fierce argument between party members of the SEC, Silvana Boneva and Saso Srcev from VMRO-DPMNE and Igor Milev and Violeta Duma from SDSM, President Aleksandar Cicakovski interrupted the session and held a break in order to reduce the tension.
With two votes “for” and seven votes “against”, the SEC rejected BESA’s second complaint as well, which it considers to be unfounded and is in regards to polling stations 1119/1 and 1120 in Lipkovo, where the following irregularities were observed in the procedure of voting: group and proxy voting, publicly voting outside the booth, pressures and agitation in front of the polling station and in the hallway. The reasons for the rejection, according to the seven members of the SEC, are in that there is no evidence for the complaints, that the complaints were not submitted to municipal election committees on time, on the day of the elections, and that authorized representatives of parties who were at the polling station have signed the minutes.
And BESA’s third complaint, concerning polling station 2340 in the village of Grusino, Municipality of Aracinovo, where the minutes were signed by only two members of the Electoral Board, and where a person had voted for several other people and members of the Electoral Board “did not put a stamp on the ballot”, has nevertheless been rejected with four votes “for” and five votes “against”.
In the chaotic situation, there were even comments that “it concerns only 3 ballots” that do not have a stamp!

Even though SEC’s call center had continuously been contacted for the family and proxy voting and the agitating in front of the polling station, from where there had been no response, according to SEC member Boneva there is no need for discussing the complaint because BESA’s observer at the polling station, along with the other party observers, did not indicate problems and did signed.
