REGION FM Osmani to pay official visit to Montenegro

North Macedonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani, is set to pay an official visit to Montenegro on Friday.

Osmani, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release Thursday, was invited to visit Montenegro by counterpart Đorđe Radulović. During the visit, he is set to meet with Radulović and other top Montenegrin officials, including President Milo Đukanović, Parliament Speaker Aleksa Bečić, Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić and Deputy PM Dritan Abazović.

“Stakeholders are set to reaffirm during the meetings close and friendly bilateral relations, as well as discuss ways to improve economic cooperation, stemming from excellent political relations, by finding new means to enrich trade exchange,” read the press release.

Focus will also be put, it added, on cooperation within NATO and the EU integration process. In that context, stakeholders will talk about regional cooperation and initiatives that play a key role in development of good neighbor relations and their significance for cooperation and the EU prospects of every country and the region as a whole, the Foreign Ministry said.
