Firecrackers and all kinds of pyrotechnic materials are being sold at traffic lights throughout Skopje, report anonymous citizen journalists. They say that at the traffic lights near the shopping center “Mavrovka”, there are several (minor) persons every day selling firecrackers ahead of the New Year’s and Christmas holidays.
The Ministry of Interior announced that on the territory of the Sector of Interior Skopje and Sector of Interior Bitola, in the last couple of days they managed to find over 55.000 pieces of pyrotechnics in just two persons.
“Criminal charges will be submitted against these two persons for the crime ‘unauthorized manufacturing, keeping and exchanging with firearms or explosive materials’, provided by and punishable by Article 396 of the Criminal Code of the RM”, is said from the MOI.
