Situation in hospitals is stable and there is no large influx of patients in public health institutions across the country, with sufficient number of available beds, said Health Minister Venko Filipche on Friday.
“The vaccination process is going well. About 13,000 citizens have received the AstraZeneca jab, while the remaining quantities have been distributed to institutions and vaccination sites across the country,” Minister Filipche told reporters.
About 35,000 citizens have been vaccinated thus far.
“We expect the Pfizer vaccines to arrive on Monday, as confirmed yesterday and again today. They will arrive at the Sofia-based airport and then by special cold-chain transport to Skopje later in the afternoon,” added Filipche.
