It’s still too early to stop wearing face masks. Hospitality facilities should continue to serve customers only outdoors, but after an extended period of time, wedding venues should reopen, in line with protocols and only hosting parties outside. The only issue open to negotiation is the number of guests per table, Health Minister Venko Filipche said on Wednesday.
If the number of new COVID-19 cases continues to drop, he underlined that these measures should be implemented starting June, but the final decision is to be made by the Commission for Infectious Diseases.
According to Filipche, all other event organizing protocols are suitable and should remain in force.
The Minister also expressed hopes that the number of cases will continue to drop so that stakeholders can discuss further relaxing restrictions.
