Health Minister Venko Filipche announced on Tuesday a five percent salary increase for all healthcare workers in public healthcare sector. Filipche told Slobodna TV’s Morning Briefing show said that both medical and non-medical staff in health facilities will get an increase in their salaries.
“Together with the trade union we will decide today about the pay rise of 5% for all healthcare workers in the public healthcare sector. Both medical and non-medical staff in health facilities will receive an increase of their March salaries that will be paid in April,” Filipche said.
Ministry of Health said that it is continuously investing in human capital whereat 446 people have been employed in the public healthcare sector during the pandemic, in addition to increasing the salaries of healthcare workers and other non-medical staff in public health institutions.
