Minister of Education and Science Mila Carovska today held a meeting with a delegation from Estonia, representatives of the Secretariat for European Affairs and from the US Embassy, where the planned activities in digitalization of education were discussedand development of digital skills, through a project supported by the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership (ECEP) and financed by Estonia and the United States.
– The project that is being started by the Secretariat for European Affairs and is in the direction of supporting digitalization in North Macedonia, is part of the priorities of the Government for bringing European values home, among which also digitalization of education. The Ministry of Education and Science has been mapped as a relevant ministry for sharing experiences and information, as well as for the situation in regards to the digitalization of processes and services in education, with the purpose of more efficient planning and defining of further project activities, announced the Ministry of Education and Science.
The goal of the project is to share best practices and experiences from the Estonian digitalization, and part of the project activities include: training and mentorship for relevant civil servants and institutions in North Macedonia, development and implementation of an e-governance solution and technical support and change management.
The project will be implemented in a period of 18 months, and starts through meetings and joint workshops with representatives of relevant institutions and other stakeholders from North Macedonia.
