The European Commission is aware of and condemns the incident of the police brutality against people of Roma in Bitola late last week, MIA’s Brussels correspondent reported on Monday.
“From our side it is very clear that we condemn any unjustified use of force, we note that the authorities have condemned these incidents and they have already taken action to investigate and to bring to justice those responsible as far as the investigations are such we do not comment on the ongoing investigations or judicial proceedings,” European Commission Spokesperson Ana Pisonero said.
The European Commission does not comment on ongoing investigations or judicial proceedings, but their position is very clear that they condemn unjustified use of force.
