Companies soon will be able to apply for the Covid 4 line of interest-free loans through the Development Bank as part of the fifth stimulus package, Finance Minister Fatmir Besimi said Tuesday.
EUR 10 million (615 million denars) is singled out, Besimi said adding that the companies can apply for loans ranging from EUR 3,000 to EUR 30,000. It is planned the interest-free loan to be transformed into grants for companies that will increase the number of employees or the turnover.
So far, 36,800 jobs in more than 2,700 companies have been protected through the three lines of interest-free loans, made available through the Development Bank. Also, EUR 44,1 million was injected in the economy.
