EU interior ministers agreed to create a common anti-human-trafficking plan to help protect people from risks fleeing the war in Ukraine, reports MIA.
The strategy is to provide information to arrivals from Ukraine as well as setting up dedicated hotlines, train front-line officers to identify victims and enhanced Europol monitoring.
EU interior ministers also agreed plans to coordinate the reception of children from Ukraine into the European Union, according to a statement from the European Commission and French EU presidency. Special plans for the transfer and registration of unaccompanied minors are also under way, the statement said.
