Effective fight against corruption is needed for the country’s progress and better lives of the citizens, EU Ambassador David Geer said Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, he met with the President of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, Biljana Ivanovska.
Progress has been made, he noted.
“Good meeting with Anti-Corruption Commission President Ivanovska. Effective fight against corruption is needed for country’s progress and better lives of the citizens. Progress has been made, but further efforts are needed with the Commission in the leading role,” Geer tweeted after the meeting.
