Deputy PM for the fight against corruption and crime, sustainable development and human resource, Ljupcho Nikolovski said at Monday’s press briefing that a new electronic inspection system so-called E-inspector will be established this year.

Nikolovski noted that the system is one of the links in the fight against corruption. It will be an effective control mechanism that will reduce any subjective influence of inspectors in performing their controls.

The E-inspector will electronically connect all 28 inspection services under the Inspection Council.

“This year, we will establish the electronic inspection system, E-inspector which will connect all 28 inspection services under the Isection Council aimed at improving the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of the inspectors’ work,” Nikolovski said.

He reminded that the competencies of the inspection services have been increased in order to support the police and other control services.

“Violations of laws, protocols and measures are reduced and again there are no untouchability when it comes to violation of law. Inspection services now have the tools to sanction and impose specific penalties to everyone who violate protocols,” Nikolovski added.

Nikolovski at the press briefing focused on ‘Action 21’ implementing European standards at home, pledged for the resolution of high-level corruption cases, accountable and transparent institutions and a complete economic restart.

“2021 will be the year to fight against the corruption, everyone who violated the law will be held accountable, no one is above the law,” Nikolovski noted.
