Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM) has secured gas from Makpetrol until the end of October, confirming that the heating season will begin as scheduled, on October 15, transmits news agency MIA.
Gas has been secured from Makpetrol by the end of October, at a price of EUR 1,713 per 1000 Nm3.
The heating concept, i.e. the gas resource used for the remainder of the heating season will be determined on the basis of the operating regime of cogeneration power plant TE-TO, which delivers heat in the Skopje heating system as byproduct from the electricity production process, ESM said in a press release.
The two heating plants that ESM has leased have technical options for various operating resources.
