- New Event Planned: A follow-up conference to deepen strategic cooperation on Ukraine will likely take place in the Italian Parliament this November.
- Security Is Shared: Supporting Ukraine is not only a moral obligation — it’s a direct investment in Europe’s collective security.

I just want to sincerely thank everyone involved in organizing this event. We’re incredibly proud, happy, and honored to be part of this initiative. We strongly believe in its overarching goal, and we will do everything in our power to support it.
In fact, we are already planning a follow-up event — building on the one held during the Economic Forum in Poland, often referred to as the “Eastern Davos.” The next one is likely to take place in the Italian Parliament in November, and of course, we would love to welcome all of you there.
Just one quick point: What we’re witnessing right now — and this is widely echoed in both scholarly and think tank literature — is that existential threats, whether invisible or clearly visible as in the case of Russia, tend to generate unity.
Our hope is that this unity will grow even stronger between the UK and the EU. We are natural partners and must work together in safeguarding European security — and, by extension, the security of the Ukrainian people.
Once again, thank you to Roger and all the organizers for making this possible. We are truly honored to be here.
