Our readers have noticed that the media platform of Civil was slow and at times unavailable during the day Sunday, January 30, 2022. We received several messages during the morning hours that CivilMedia (Macedonian), Drejt (Albanian) and Civil Today (English), as well as Frontline.mk and some other internet portals, could be barely accessible at moments.
We were not able to answer earlier, but now we can confirm and answer some of the questions that arrived to our inbox. Yes, it is true, there is a growing interest in our contents, but that is far from the reason for the difficulties that our media platform faced today.
According to the information we received from the cyber security experts with whom we cooperate and with whom we were in intensive communication today, our media reports also attracted the attention of “readers” of less friendly entities.
And when they “read” they do it “a little” differently.
Unfortunately, for the sake of our “cyber health”, I have an obligation to follow the advice of our cyber security guards and reveal no more details about the type of “reading” that those “entities” prepared for us today. Although, if you now access one of our internet portals, most of you will be briefly detained at a Cloudflare “checkpoint”, but after two or three seconds they will continue their journey through our media space.
In any case, the media platforms that were the target of the attention of those who “read to the root” did not collapse at any point during the “reading”.
What I can share is that the “reading” was so fierce that, if the protection were weaker, there would not be a single letter left from our internet portals. Someone wrote to me today – “Looks like you hit where it hurts. Was it very strong?” I confirmed, but I was proud, as I do not know how many times all these years, of our cyber knights.
I would like to thank our precious cyber knights, those guardian angels who protect our, and yours, free zone. There are no working hours for them, because they are active around the clock. Of course, we also thank our great audience for their patience, understanding and support.
We move on, “to hurt” wherever it is needed. Thanks also to those who commissioned this endurance test.
