The Government on Tuesday approved a paper on an initiative to conclude a Memorandum of Understanding for electronic data interchange between the Customs Administration and Greece’s Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR), and accepted the aligned text of the Memorandum, informs MIA.
The Memorandum of Understanding, in line with EU legislation and national legislation in the area of data interchange, enables measures to facilitate road traffic on Green Corridors, measures against customs fraud, measures to speed up customs procedures and reduce necessary documents and customs controls, the Government said in a press release.
