Electricity prices will stay the same by the end of the year and we are prepared to intervene afterwards and support households and businesses, says PM and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev.
“Citizens should know that the electricity price will stay the same until the end of the year, and we are prepared to introduce a voucher scheme if prices change in 2022,” Zaev told Sitel TV.
He adds that the energy problem is an international issue and the Government is doing everything to keep the stability of the electricity price.
“The energy system should be seen in its full capacity. We have to raise the national output to the maximum and then see how to balance the remaining gap. However, I hope it will not come to this,” notes Zaev.
