Economic Chamber President Branko Azeski urged all parliamentary parties to pass economic legislation at Tuesday’s session in Parliament that is taking place after almost a month of standstill.
Any stalling of legislation, Azeski pointed out, is a serious blow to the economy and businesses. The opposition and the other parties, he added, need to keep in mind that every penny counts and every day counts for the economy, especially in the current situation of the COVID-19 crisis.
“A session has been announced for today in Parliament, to be held after a while now, during which certain bills should be passed. I urge all parliamentary parties to keep in mind the situation we’re in and do their utmost effort not to overlook economic legislation. Although there’s good will on the part of the Government, stalling creates bad input on the economic position of companies,” Azeski said.
