WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN CIVIL’s Conference “Diversity, a blessing or a curse” on the challenges and perspectives of multicultural society will be held at the City Park Hotel on January 12 (Thursday), starting at 12:00 (link to FB event).
THE MAIN QUESTION of the Conference is – What are the main challenges and perspectives of multiculturalism in our society?
THE PURPOSE of this conference is to contribute towards the societal dialogue and the creation of policies and practices to support and promote multiculturalism and European values in the Macedonian society.
THE FORMAT of the conference is a series of 10-minute panels with a host and a guest speaker. The host will ask the main question, keeping the option for additional questions. After the talk, the opportunity will be opened for 1-2 questions or comments from the audience (up to 1 minute). Video messages will be screened at the beginning and in-between some of the panels.
THE OUTPUTS of the conference include live streaming on the organization’s Facebook and YouTube channels. At least 15 video and textual contents will be published on Civil’s media platform. All content will be available under the Creative Commons 4.0 license.
THE EVENT is part of the A Step Forward to a Multicultural Society – a project for promotion of multiculturalism, respect for diversity, non-discrimination, and European values, implemented by Civil with the support of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
