“When you are already acting, sometimes we play virgins, sometimes we play killers. Acting teaches me to respect differences every day. I live the world through acting. We are all equally hurt, we are all of flesh and blood. We make the same texts only in different languages (Macedonian / Albanian). We often communicate on stage through emotions, sometimes we should not even talk,” said actress Vladanka Dimkovska at the CIVIL public event on “Can we together?”
“I was in Belgrade this weekend for a play and we were all from the ex-Yu and nobody talked about wars, problems but we talked about equality, about coexistence. My motto is that there are no borders,” she added.
The debate is part of the “Make a Difference: Respect for Diversity” Initiative, supported by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
