Successful implementation of the concept “One Society for All” is a guarantee for the stability and security of the country, stated Xhabir Deralla, CIVIL, in a conversation in Morning Briefing.
CIVIL’s analyses of the “One Society for All” strategy refers to the conclusion that the Government strives to promote the values of tolerance, equity, equal opportunities, recognition of diversity, multiculturalism and intercultural communication. Deralla spoke about this in Morning Briefing.
We had a very positive meeting with Kovacevski. It was a positive surprise, as we did not expect that in such a time of crisis so much time could be found for this topic. We spoke about three major topics, such as multiculturalism, the electoral reforms and disinformation in the context of the Ukrainian crisis, which are particularly important topics that we discussed for an hour and a half. We realized that Kovacevski, although the perception being that he is focused only on the economy and his approach being technocratic, understands the strategy and multiculturalism very well. It has to be known that the Strategy is a guarantee for the security and stability of our society. It does not spend money, but returns a lot, and even in the economy in the long run, stressed Deralla.
The political project One Society for All, as a national strategy, is part of the obligations also of the National Coordinator for Interculturalism and One Society for All, Robert Alagjozovski, who is the coordinator of the body for multiculturalism as well.
We notice that there are greater problems for the implementation of the strategy at the lower levels, where there still are remains of the previous regime. Recently, we have seen improvement of the cohesion and inter-sectoral cooperation in the Government, says Deralla.
Deralla adds that the international factors understand very well the importance of the Strategy for the stability and security of the country, as the propaganda centers will first try to break down the cohesion of society.
One of the five recommendations that we delivered to the Government through Kovacevski is that One Society for All as a content, is not represented enough in the public. On the other hand, the interest of the media is also weak. If we were now talking about an interethnic fight, everyone would have wanted to hear and see about it. Perhaps we too may need to change the angle. That is why I am putting the security of society in first place. If there is no unity, there will be interethnic violence and violence among different groups, said Deralla.
