Civil – Center for Freedom strongly condemns the physical attack of Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Pesevski over journalist Sase Ivanovski.
The act of violence occurred July 15, in the center of Skopje, when Deputy Prime Minister Pesevski attacked journalist Ivanovski, just because he did not like the question that he was asked.
This is an outrageous act of violent behavior that does not suit anyone, least a senior government official.
We join the calls for his immediate resignation. This is one more arrogant act by this government official about whom there are many more allegations of criminal conduct in the wiretapped conversations revealed by the opposition in the past months.
We demand a public apology from Deputy Prime Minister Pesevski, and for an appropriate procedure to be initiated by the police ex officio.
