Deputy PM for the fight against corruption and crime, sustainable development and human resources Ljupcho Nikolovski presented the Plan to fight corruption before President Stevo Pendarovski, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi and EU Ambassador David Geer on Monday.
Deputy PM Nikolovski presented the Plan’s measures and tasks for institutions towards their timely implementation to President Pendarovski, who said results required full transparency, adequate legislation, sanctions and contribution by all institutions.
Nikolovski told Xhaferi that adoption of legislative changes related to a portion of the measures are important for their efficient implementation and meeting of the required timelines.
Ambassador Geer voiced support for the Plan, saying the European Union is at disposal for further cooperation and support in the measures’ implementation, the Deputy PM’s Office said in a press release.
