The Executive Order of United States President Joe Biden, according to which all those acting against the Prespa Agreement and the Ohrid Framework Agreement and the interests of the Western Balkans would be blacklisted is a message for those who block or want to block processes in the country, said Deputy PM for the fight against corruption and crime Ljupcho Nikolovski on Wednesday.
“I have still not seen the document in detail, but I can say that the people of the Republic of North Macedonia have firmly stood behind the Ohrid and the Prespa agreements, and these are the foundations of this modern society oriented to progress, development and integration. I believe this is a message to all those who block or want to block processes in the country,” Deputy PM Nikolovski told reporters.
He said the order comes from North Macedonia’s strategic partner and it would be fully respected, since it highlights many aspects related to corruption.
