Prosecutor’s Office replies to Anti-Corruption Commission: Suggestions that we are working under pressure are preposterous
The Public Prosecutor’s Office denied the allegations about pressures and influences and stressed that the time needed for determining the actual situation in the cases is not appropriate criteria for assessing the work of the public prosecutors. The work of the Public Prosecutor’s Office can be assessed only on the basis of the seriousness and quality of the evidence from which the public prosecutor’s decisions result.
The reaction of the Public Prosecutor’s Office is in relation to the statement of the President of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption, Biljana Ivanovska, who said the Prosecutor’s Office is still working under pressure because of two reasons – the first is that there are still no replies for some cases, and the second is that for some cases, on the other hand, they receive many quick replies.

Well, let the members of the former Lustration Commission who voted on those decisions pay the damages out of their own pocket!”, writes Saso Ordanoski in today’s column “The lustrators should pay the lustration!”.
“We are neither Denmark, nor Sweden, nor even close, for example, to Slovenia.
